Kevin Tin, MD, MBA, FACP
I am proud of my Chinese heritage and my Brooklyn training; I hope to bridge communication and cultural barriers to obtaining appropriate competent care in a community that suffers from many stomach, liver and intestinal illnesses and cancers. I am fluent in English, Fujianese, Mandarin and Cantonese. I have joined the Gastroenterology Associates of Brooklyn, with offices on 634 59th st. in the heart of Brooklyn’s Sunset Park Chinatown and 6700 3rd Ave on the Bay Ridge border (this office has a parking lot!). I care for every one of my patients with a dedicated proactive approach to their health and wellness. My fluency in Chinese dialects gives me an advantage to listen and understand my patients’ individual needs and make them overcome the uneasiness. I completed my medical education at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and am Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. I am an active member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. I completed my internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center and completed a clinical transplant hepatology fellowship training at New York University Langone Medical Center. I was selected as Chief Fellow during my gastroenterology training and hold faculty and academic appointments at Maimonides Medical Center. These certifications and active involvement provide me the advantages of being abreast of the latest medical advancements and medications thereby providing a higher level of quality care to my patients.
