Rabin Rahmani, M.D. FACG
Dr. Rabin Rahmani is a founding physician of Gastroenterology Associates of Brooklyn. Dr. Rahmani currently serves as Director of Medical Education and Research for the department of Gastroenterology at Maimonides Medical Center, Director of performance improvement for Endoscopy and Hepatobiliary Diseases, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Rahmani completed his medical education and internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed fellowships in Gastroenterology at Maimonides- where he served as the chief fellow - as well as The Mount Sinai Medical Center world renowned Transplant Hepatology program. Dr. Rahmani is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and has received several grants to participate in pioneering work in interventional Endoscopic Ultrasound at Yale University School of Medicine and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is a regular contributor at national symposiums and an expert consultant for several fortune 500 companies.
While Dr. Rahmani is nationally recognized for his cutting edge research in the field of gastroenterology, he has garnered wide popularity in the Brooklyn community for his thorough and compassionate patient care. In addition to routine endoscopy and colonoscopy, Dr. Rahmani offers his expertise in a number of specialized procedures. He subscribes to a "whole body" philosophy to digestive health with specialty in advanced minimally invasive procedures.
